Azin Feizabadiis Iran - Germany

 


Azin Feizabadiis an Iranian born Berlin based filmmaker, visual artist, film curator and university lecturer.

He is a member of the programming team at Kassel Documentary Film & Video Festival (short film section) since 2018. His feature film debut "UCHRONIA" was released in selected cinemas in Germany in 2019.

His publication"AFTER CINEMA –FICTIONS FROM A COLLECTIVE MEMORY" was published by German-Italian publishing house Archive Booksin the same year.
Azin Feizabadi has screened, staged, published and exhibited his works among others at the Berlinale Forum Expanded, House of World Cultures Berlin, The Guggenheim Museum NYC, Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, Museum Ostwall Dortmund, Sharjah Biennial UAE, Queens Museum NYC, MMK Museum für Moderne Kunst Frankfurt, Poznan Biennial Poland, Optica centre d'art contemporain Montreal, Framer Framed Amsterdam, Savvy Contemporary Berlin, International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, International Short Film Festival Hamburg.

Mahari Seghid Eritrea - Sudan - Germany


Mahari Seghid is born in Eritrea 1952.

He lived in Sudan where he started his first encounter with the cinema world. With 18 was in charge in his school for the selection of international including some Sudanese and Egyptians films. In 1974 after his studies he worked in the area of Italian Film Industry in Rome. He studied film and documentaries with the Jesuits Popoli.

Since 2001 he lives in Berlin. The Berlinale is for him the place to Be. Film He works as a critic for The African Refugees news.











 

Steven Yates Great Britain - Germany

 


Steven Yates is a British film critic and journalist based in Berlin.

He writes for a variety of websites and hard copy publications globally and has been a member of FIPRESCI since 2001, attending numerous film festivals as a jury member in Europe and globally. He has worked for film festivals in the past, including London and Edinburgh, as well as being an assistant programmer for National Schools Film Week in the UK.

Presently he is part of the selection team for the Kendal Mountain Film Festival, also in the UK.
